What is one tradition in your country that we don’t celebrate in the USA?

In the USA people don’t celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival. There is the custom of eating Zongzi and racing dragon boats on that day.  That Festival started because of a famous person, Quyuan. This is a memory day for him.
Dragon boat races are the most exciting part of the festival, drawing crowds of spectators. The boats range anywhere form 40 to 100 feet in long. Before a dragon boat enters competition it must be “brought to life ” by painting the eyes in a sacred ceremony. The traditional food for the Dragon festival is a glutinous rice ball with a filling wrapped in corn leaves. The fillings can be anything you want. They are generally steamed.
